Items you will need:
- Sugarpaste, roll out icing, or fondant whatever you call it.
- Multi square cutters. Mine are the Wliton cutters which I bought from Amazon, I have taken a picture of them below.
- Rolling pin
- Sharp knife
Step 1: Roll out your sugarpaste.
Step 2: Using the largest of the multi size cutters, cut out a square.
Step 3: Using the knife, cut the square in half. You can measure this to be precise, I did it by eye.
Step 4: Using the knife again I trimmed the square a little more to make my own desired envelope length. Envelopes come in lots of sizes, so this is totally up to you!
Step 5: Get your next size down square cutter.
Step 6: Turn this smaller cutter clockwise so that it looks like a diamond, and press very lightly on the sugarpaste like below. If you push too hard you will cut out a triangle and not get the envelope design.
Step 7: Lift the cutter up and this is what you should see :) My toppers were going on some wedding cupcakes, so I decorated with a tiny heart in the centre. As in sealed with a kiss (heart) :)
This is what the finished topper looked like alongside my other topper :)
